“The old shall be renewed, and the new shall be sanctified…”

 

An independent narrative headphone tour in the Mahane Yehuda market and the Nachlaot neighborhood, following the story of a young woman who returns to her childhood neighborhood to disprove a superstition about a curse.

Between old and new, past and future,  visible and hidden, the streets shift to present the magic and mystery of the Nachlaot neighborhood and the many legendary characters of the Mahane Yehuda market.

The tour starts at 11 Beit Ya’akov St., near the Mahane Yehuda Market, and ends at Nissim BacharSt. in the Nachlaot neighborhood.

The length of the tour is about 45 minutes. The tour isn’t unguided; you will walk independently.
