Immersive Audio: Testimonials & Live Sounds of the Massacre
When words fail, when fear and shock are no longer sufficient to convey the full extent of the horror we experienced on October 7th.
What then remains?
The testimonies... their testimonies.
Thus, it becomes our collective responsibility, not to forget. To capture these moments and broadcast to the world the experiences of the survivors.
In the wake of the utterly inconceivable attacks of October 7th, and following three months of war, Galei Zahal (the official radio station of the IDF) and AUDIO DRAMA (a production company) have joined their forces, to craft a series of podcasts (audio testimonies of survivors), based on state-of-the-art, innovative technology (8D Binaural Audio). This technology is designed to immerse the listener deep into the very heart of the events.
Every single word, every lingering memory, each distinct sound (the screams, the sirens, the gunshots, the breaths...)
When words fail and when the images become unbearable, the world of sounds steps in to allow the world to hear, to comprehend, to understand... To Know.
